Sunday, April 29th, there will be a second collection for the “Catholic Home Missions.” The Catholic Bishops of the United States have established a special collection for missionary efforts being made in the United States. Our Eparchy, which is "missionary by nature has received much financial help from this effort. Now we are able to help others in return.

Eucharistic Adoration for this month will be held on Sunday, April 29th, 2007 following the 9:00 a.m. Liturgy. This special time of meditating before the Blessed Sacrament is an opportunity to pray for peace in the world and especially in the Middle East. Please remember to remain quiet after the 9:00 a.m. Liturgy while the Eucharist is exposed. those arriving for MCF and the 11:00 a.m. Liturgy should use the downstairs hall door or the rectory door.

St. Joseph Maronite Church will be selling Lebanese delicacies at Inman Park. This year, the MYO will be working on this event and receiving the proceeds. Please mark your calendars for April 27-29 and sign up to help on the sheets posted on the bulletin board in the church hall. Workers are needed for the following: Friday: Booth set up, food preparation. Saturday: Food preparation; 4 hour Booth Shifts. Sunday: 4 hour Booth Shifts, Booth Tear Down, Kitchen Clean Up. Fund Raiser Rules: 1. BE ON TIME 2. All MYO members must work their full shift. 3. The one hour shift overlap is to allow for hand off of work NOT sightseeing. 4. Parents save gas… expect to assist while your son or daughter is working… we need help with food preparation and clean up. 5. Following the event, a letter will be given to each MYO member for their work credit. 6. Total profit / total MYO work hours = per hour rate Example: $8,000.00 / 100 = 80.00 per hour rate 7. Hours worked per hour rate = work credit dollars Example: 4.5 hours = $360.00 8. Work credit dollars to be used to pay for MYO Events. On Sunday, May 6th, 2007, at the end of the 9:00 a.m. Divine Liturgy, the May Crowning and Blessing with the Icon will take place. We would like as many children as possible to participate in this beautiful ceremony. The children will march in procession at the start of the 9:00 a.m. Liturgy. Teachers and parents, are asked to encourage your students and/or children to attend. Parents, please have your children meet in the Cry Room at 8:30 a.m. on that day.
